🌿 LABOSO CARING AND REGENERATIVE SOCIETY FOUNDATION (LCRSF)

Founded by Laboso Joy Wambogo in 2021, LCRSF is a community-based organization in southern Kenya working across environmental restoration, education, and regenerative tourism.
🧭 Vision & Mission
🌍 Vision
To live in an environment where every survival route supports people, the Earth, and fairness.
🚀 Mission
To seek knowledge, technology, and resources globally to support sustainable and regenerative development.
🌳 LABOCARE FOUNDATION FOR REFORESTATION

Why Reforestation?
Reforestation is one of the most powerful tools we have to fight the climate crisis:
🌡️ Global warming and rising sea levels are escalating.
☀️ Ozone layer depletion increases harmful UV radiation.
🐾 Species are going extinct as habitats vanish.
🚗 Cities face heatwaves and severe air pollution.
🌬️ Carbon emissions are choking our atmosphere.
Trees purify the air, cool the Earth, restore biodiversity, and stabilize ecosystems.
Without reforestation, there is no sustainable future.
Other key benefits include:
Riparian planting to reduce water pollution
Soil restoration and erosion control
Connecting fragmented forest patches
Supporting gene flow and ecosystem balance
What We’re Doing
We are building a regenerative economy by working with local farmers and forest communities.
Partnered with Silvi Protocol
Planted thousands of trees in Lambwe & Kakamega Forests
Onboarded 8+ smallholder farmers into our stewardship model

👧 LABOCARE FOUNDATION FOR GIRL CHILD EDUCATION

How Our Community Supports Education
Education is a shared responsibility. We help create safe, nurturing, emotionally supportive learning environments by engaging:
Parents and guardians
Local schools and teachers
Community volunteers
We prioritize the emotional and social needs of learners so they can thrive in class. Many girls, however, are held back by:
💍 Early marriages
🦠 Effects of COVID-19
👶 Teen pregnancy
🧍♀️ Abuse and neglect
🚶♀️ Long walks to school

What We’re Doing
We listen to each child’s story
We support education with material and emotional care
We partner with families, sponsors, and schools
🔗 Read our latest field report
Thanks to the support of Sister Kate Bennett (Australia), two girls have joined secondary school. Our goal: support 10 vulnerable girls annually.
Scaling Impact with Local Infrastructure
We co-founded Ndori Secondary School to provide free or subsidized education. More investment is needed to stabilize this effort.
📣 We invite collaborators to help us:
Build kindergartens
Establish local primary & secondary schools
Reduce school travel burden for rural kids

Reduce • Reuse • Recycle • Regenerate
We work to:
Eliminate ecological residue
Promote soil health
Restore biodiversity
Shift culture through education
